Navjot Kaur, DVM

Medical Director

Dr. Navjot Kaur earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (2004) from Punjab Agricultural University, India. After finishing veterinary school, she completed her Master of Veterinary Science in Veterinary Pathology as Gold Medalist (2006) and obtained post graduation degree in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences (2010) at University of Saskatchewan, Canada. Dr. Nav also worked as Clinical Instructor in Veterinary Biomedical Sciences, U of S. Her teachings were focused on small animal anatomy. She had completed a year-long clinical rotation at Louisiana State University, School of Veterinary Medicine, LA. She has been passionate about helping animals since a very young age and enjoys caring for all walks of life. Dr Nav’s interests include dermatology and internal medicine. Former national Handball player, also loves driving, horseback riding, baking, Interior designing and spending time with family and friends. She absolutely loves to dance. Dr. Nav lives with her husband and kids!

Mandeep Sandhu, DVM

Dr. Sandhu has been in small animal practice since 1998. He graduated from Punjab Veterinary College, India. Then he completed a one-year clinical rotation program in Alabama. Dr. Sandhu completed his Masters in preventive medicine and parasitology in 2000. He is an active member of the American Veterinary Medical Association and Chicago Veterinary Medical Association. Dr Sandhu has a special interest and experience in preventive health care, internal medicine, geriatric health and screening, routine and complicated surgery. He also has special interest in Laser Surgery and orthopaedic surgery. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his wife & kids

Krishna Bhatt, DVM

With a background in veterinary medicine that spans across continents, Dr. Krishna Bhatt brings
a wealth of expertise to our team. After graduating from the Veterinary School in Nepal in 2011,
Dr. Bhatt moved to Canada to pursue his graduate degree in Veterinary Medical Sciences (VMS)
from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, University of Calgary, Canada. He practiced small
animal veterinary medicine in various clinics in the Edmonton metropolitan area and in Lacomb,
Alberta, Canada, before joining our team at Lone Tree Animal Care.

Dr. Bhatt enjoys working with small animals and is passionate about providing premium quality
animal care. He believes in consistent learning and applying new and advanced techniques to
improve the quality of care for our furry friends. His special interests include small animal
surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Dr. Bhatt is a member of the California Veterinary
Medical Board, American Veterinary Medical Association, Canadian Veterinary Medical
Association, and Alberta Veterinary Medical Association.

When not busy caring for our furry friends, Dr. Bhatt loves spending time outdoors with his
family along with their diluted orange tabby Cat named Mimi. He also loves playing
sports; Squash, badminton, and Tennis. Although he misses snow sports, Dr. Bhatt is looking
forward to Scuba diving and Surfing.

Navreen Kaur Sandhu, DVM

Dr. Navreen Kaur did her graduation in Bachelor of Veterinary Sciences and Animal Husbandry (BVSc & A.H.) degree from Punjab, India in 2019. After graduating from Veterinary School, she moved to the United States and completed a one-year clinical rotations program from Oklahoma State University, to earn her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2022. She has been in practice for the past 2 years. She has a special interest in Internal Medicine, soft tissue surgeries and Ophthalmology. She believes providing patients with the best care client education is most important. She loves spending time with her family and friends. In free time, she enjoys painting, listening to songs and traveling to new places.

Le-Nguyen, DMV, SAS

Dr. Le-Nguyen graduated from UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. He completed an undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences at UC Davis. Being a general practitioner at local veterinary hospitals, over the years, Dr. Le-Nguyen acquired a special interest in dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgeries.

Upon seeing pets not being able to get the surgeries they need due to pet owner financial constraints, Dr. Le-Nguyen sets out to receive advanced continued education and surgery training. He participates and collaborates with other surgeons and colleagues to hone in on these surgical skills–using the most up to date techniques and standards.

“When I look into the eyes of an animal, I see a living being, I see a friend, I feel a soul. ” Growing up with lots of animals it’s no surprise that I chose veterinary medicine as my career. I have been in the field since 1990 and a registered veterinary technician since 1997. I am fur mom to four dogs and many cats. As I am very active in the animal rescue world most of my cats are rescues, including a sphynx , a ragdoll maine coon and a Bengal. I look forward to taking care of your fur babies like my own

I was born and raised in Antioch, California. I live with four fur babies at home: two cats, Leo and Sir Mitts a lot (Schmitt), and also two dogs, Bubba and Jilly Bean. I was born and raised in San Francisco, but went to high school in Brentwood. I am currently a receptionist and studying to be a Vet Tech!
