Lone Tree Animal Care is looking to add experienced RVT’s, Veterinary Assistants, CSR’s and Kennel Assistants to our team. Several positions include weekends.
Technicians and Assistants must possess excellent customer service, computer skills, making educated recommendations according to our hospital protocol, reading and understanding medical records as well as technical skills.
Veterinary Assistants should be proficient at:
- IVC placement
- Monitor anesthetized patients
- Monitor and recover surgical patients
- Ability to take diagnostic radiographs
- Run in house lab work
- Knowledge of Vaccination protocols and flea/tick/heartworm prevention
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Registered Veterinary Technician
Lone Tree Animal Care is looking to add experienced RVT’s, Veterinary Assistants, CSR’s and Kennel Assistants to our team. Several positions include weekends.
Technicians and Assistants must possess excellent customer service, computer skills, making educated recommendations according to our hospital protocol, reading and understanding medical records as well as technical skills.
Registered Veterinary Technician should be proficient at:
- IVC placement
- Anesthesia induction/intubation
- Anesthesia monitoring and recovery
- Dental experience is preferred but not required
- Willingness to learn dentistry and surgical extractions
- Drug calculations
- Produce diagnostic radiographs
- Run in house lab work
- Knowledge of Vaccination protocols and flea/tick/heartworm prevention
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
Receptionist
- Must possess excellent communication and customer service skills
- Have good computer skills
- The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks
- The ability to use email/fax and multi-line telephone
- Must be able to handle money and make change
- Making educated recommendations according to hospital protocol
- Reading and understanding medical records
Kennel Assistant

Responsibilities of a Kennel Assistant include, but are not limited to:
- Cleaning of enclosures
- Feeding and caring for dogs and cats.
- Walking dogs.
- Bathing dogs and cats.
- Doing laundry.
- Medicating dogs and cats
- Assisting Doctors and Technicians when necessary.
